Dalglee Hahsh

Dalglee Hahsh is a Bwap, acting as Lysani Labratories' agent overseeing their interests on K'Kirka. He was The Group's first patron and tasked them with fixing communications on board the Calendula. He was arrested shortly after the conclusion of the Calendula investigation performed by The Group, and his current status and whereabouts are unknown.

The Calendula incident

As Lysani's agent on K'Kirka, Dalglee was tasked with many jobs, including some remote management/overseeing of the labratory ship Calendula in orbit over the planet. The Calendula eventually stopped transmitting and answering communications, and as per company policy Dalglee began investigating after 168 hours of no contact had passed. Dalglee headed to the mining company canteen, in hopes of finding a competent group of workers to hire that were capable of fixing the communications array on the ship. Dalglee offered Cr1500 and a free meal to each crew member. If more was wrong than a damaged communications array, Dalglee offered to bump the pay to Cr12000 per member and include middle passage offworld for a full report of the crews findings.

Interactions with The Group

In attempting to resolve the communication issues with the Calendula, Dalglee met The Group for the first time.

Becoming the first patron

Dalglee announced his need for help in a canteen run by a mining company on K'Kirka, where he was heard by members of The Group. In the Group accepting his offer, he officially became their first patron, an act that would eventually lead to his downfall.

He equipped the group with TL10 vacc suits and an air raft to reach The Calendula, and sent them off on their way. After this, he then went about his other duties, unaware of the events he'd unwittingly set in motion.

Aboard The Calendula

Whilst aboard The Calendula, the group find evidence of various nefarious activities on board, including coorporate espianage, illegal sophont testing, and sabotage. The Group conclude that Lysani has been taking part in illegal experimentation on kidnapped victims in order to further their research on combat drugs. This research was being stolen and forwarded to Butler Chemical by the ships astrogator, who was finally ordered to sabotage the ship by Butler. The astrogator set a bomb in the ships auxiliary labratory which accidentally caused the release of the mixed experimental drugs into the atmosphere, killing some members of crew and altering others into a paranoid and violent state.

Eventually The Group made it to the Pinnace, where John 'Sausage' Bronston was able to make a distress call. K'Kirka ground control enlised a passing scout ship to respond to the SOS, manned by a scout called 'Kennith' and a second unnamed scout. When questioned by the scouts, Bronston and other group member Gary Grey told them everything they knew (With the exeption of the coorporate espionage by Butler Chemical, as Grey insisted on withholding this) including Dalglees links to Lysani, and where to find him. The scouts were satisfied with the the open-ness of The Group, and let them go.

The Report

The Group made their way back to K'Kirka and found Dalglee before the K'Kirka security forces. They were honest about what they'd found, but withheld that authorities may want to speak with Dalglee due to them surrendering the same information and control of The Calendula to the authorities. The Group did choose to share the information about coorporate espionage with Dalglee; they also simply said they had given some members of the crew to another ship for medical treatment. Dalglee was satisfied with this, paid the group, and contacted James James of the Freetrader Ligma to confirm the passage offworld he had on hold for The Group. As The Group left his office, he was promply arrested by K'Kirka security forces
